Maria Rivera is a paralegal at the Law Offices of Sabrina Li and a licensed attorney in Honduras.
Maria graduated from Law School in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, in 2013. After graduation, she volunteered for two years, from 2013 to 2015, at an NGO specializing in Women’s rights. In 2018 she was granted a scholarship to study for her master’s degree in Pamplona, Spain.
Prior to joining the Law Office of Sabrina Li, Maria had worked in a Government Institution as a Transparency Unit Coordinator, serving citizens in obtaining information about benefits regarding social aid for families at social risk.
She is currently living in Spain and, as an immigrant herself, understands the struggles and cultural barriers of living in a strange country with the desire to make a better life for herself and her family. With this in mind, she is determined to help clients obtain their legal documents to live the better life they set out to.
