Payment Guide
A step-by-step guide to making payment
Thank you for choosing the Law Offices of Sabrina Li. Please use any of the following methods to make your payment.
Please note the following:
Please note the following:
- We accept debit cards, credit cards, and eCheck payments
- We accept full and partial payments, including payments toward a payment plan. If you are using someone else’s account to pay for your invoice, you must notify us and complete a third-party payment authorization form. For late payments, penalties and interest will continue to grow until you pay the total balance.
Access your payment options
Once you have opened the link, you will be able to see the full invoice. You will be able to see the amount due, the payment deadline, as well as the methods you can use to settle your account. At the bottom of the page, below the terms and conditions section, you will also have the option to download the invoice for your records.
Paying via eCheck (with account and routing numbers)
You will then be asked to confirm your preferred payment method, which is e-Check(Enter account and routing numbers), in this case.
eChecks are an electronic version of a paper check and are used to make payments online. To use eCheck, you will need to provide your account type, routing number, and account number. Please note that eCheck payments are not subject to any additional charges.
Follow steps 1 through 3 of making instant payments as detailed above. Instead of selecting the credit card option, you will select the eCheck (Enter account & routing numbers) payment. A form will then appear for you to complete your details. Before clicking Pay Now at the bottom of the page, please ensure that you have provided accurate information to avoid experiencing difficulties with your payment.

Practice Panther will notify you that it uses a service called Plaid to link your bank account. Press Continue to proceed.
Select your current banking service provider from the options provided. If your banking institution does not appear on the list, you may type its name in the search bar and locate it from there. In the unlikely event that you are still unable to find your institution, please consider resorting to the account and routing number option instead of linking your bank.
Please note that not all banks are supported by this service. If your click on your institution and it informs you that Plaid does not support it yet, please go back to the Practice Panther payment page and use the account and routing numbers option.
If your bank is supported by Plaid, it will ask you to authenticate the account. Please note that the authentication process looks different for all banks. Some may need you to just enter your login credentials on the small Plaid screen (left), while others will redirect you to your bank’s website (right). Please follow the prompts accordingly until you are notified that your linking process has been successful.

Paying via credit/debit card
You will then be asked to confirm your preferred payment method, which is Credit Card, in this case. Please make sure you enter your card details correctly. In the example below, the client incorrectly entered their details, so it remains red. Once you have provided an accurate card number, the digits will turn green and the error message will disappear. At this point, you may click the “Pay Now” option to proceed with the transaction.
Once the payment is completed, a receipt will be sent to your email automatically. If you are unable to pay with the payment link, please get in touch with us for further assistance.
Third-Party Payments
A third-party payment is a transaction that is paid for by means of a debit or credit card that does not belong to the person making the transaction, i.e., the client. If you need to settle an invoice with an account or card that belongs to someone other than yourself, the owner needs to complete the Third-Party Payment Authorization Form. This indicates their consent to have the payment deducted from their account, and eliminates the possibility of future disputes.
The owner of the account must complete the first section to indicate their consent for their information to be used to settle payment with the Law Offices of Sabrina Li on the client’s behalf.

If the payment is being made via one of the eCheck options, the owner of the account then needs to complete their account and routing details in the second section.
If the payment is being made via debit/credit card, the owner of the account needs to provide their details in the third section.
